A day at Huber’s is everyone’s favorite day

"Love this place. My wife and I have been wine club members for several years.
They have live music on the patio area, food to eat and a couple bottles of wine.
Always well kept and clean. Staff is always friendly. The Family Fun Park is excellent for the kids. They have a plenty to keep them busy for several hours. We will be back soon."

Who says white wine is only for the warmer months? Give us a chilled glass of Seyval Blanc, Chardonel, or Vignoles and a roaring fire and we are happy.

Our cure for the mid-January blues? A spectacular cocktail. Aptly named The Fix, it will cure what ails you. It's a sweet, smoky, citrusy spin on an Old Fashioned, and you need to try it now.

2 ounces Starlight Distillery Carl T. Bourbon Whiskey
1 bar spoon maple syrup
1 bar spoon vanilla syrup
3-5 dashes black walnut bitters
Flamed Angostura bitters (optional - but not really)

Instructions
Combine all ingredients into a mixing glass and add ice three quarters of the way to the top. Stir for 10-15 seconds or until the ice feels loose. Strain over big cube in rocks glass and express orange peel over the top.
Fill a small spray bottle with angostura bitters. Light a match and spray bitters over flame into cocktail glass.

VANILLA SYRUP
Bring one cup of boiling water to a boil and one cup of sugar. Stir until dissolved and lower heat. Add a teaspoon of vanilla extract and mix in. Let cool before bottling and storing in the refrigerator.
